PhonePad Version 5.13.1 Has Been Released.

We are pleased to announce the release of PhonePad 5.13.1 Server Update.

Changes and Fixes

  • ADDED – Search screen: Category and Reference searches.
  • ADDED – Export option for Search results.
  • IMPROVED – Address Book window can be resized.
  • IMPROVED – Address Book grid color can now be set.frankieandpumpkin
  • IMPROVED – The Backup logs, backup file list and Restore Backup application now show the backup description.
  • UPDATED – When installing PhonePad 5 Workstation, firewall rules are automatically created for the notifications and communications ports.
  • FIXED – Sometimes when selecting a message recipient using the mouse, the wrong recipient was selected.
  • FIXED – In some cases when replying to a message, the recipients were not being added and so the message would never arrive at its destination.
  • FIXED – Search screen: Searches were all case-sensitive.
  • FIXED – Search screen: Unable to open messages.
  • FIXED – Search screen: Quick printing messages.
  • FIXED – When editing a message, changes to the Reference field were not being saved.
  • FIXED – When viewing a message, the Read Receipt, Private and Urgent check boxes were not showing the correct status.
  • FIXED – Message receipts are now showing details correctly.
  • Various minor fixes and improvements.

Please note: Server Updates must be installed on your Server or Host PC, not your workstation (unless your workstation is also the Host PC) – they cannot be installed directly on your workstations.  Workstations will be automatically updated when PhonePad 5 Workstation is started on each workstation.

Important: When downloading and installing an update from your My PhonePad account, make sure it’s actually the update and not the server setup program.  The update will update your database whereas the setup program will overwrite it with a blank database.

You can download the update from your My PhonePad account or by using the Application Update option on the System Admin menu in PhonePad 5.

These updates are available for both fully licensed users and trial users.
