Before you can use MessageSender to automatically forward your phone messages to your cell\/mobile phone via SMS (Short Message Service), you need to establish an account with an SMS gateway provider.\u00a0 In this article, we are going look at doing this using SMS Global.<\/p>\n

Generally, you don’t have to sign any contracts or sign up for a specific amount of time.\u00a0 You just purchase the number of credits you want, and replenish these when they run low.<\/p>\n

The first thing to do is visit the signup page<\/a> on the SMS Global website.\u00a0 You need an account that allows sending SMS messages via HTTP.\u00a0 Once you have created your account SMS Global, you should have the following details:<\/p>\n

• Username<\/li>\n
• Password<\/li>\n
• Sender ID<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  We will need each of these things to set up MessageSender.<\/p>\n

  1. Run MessageSender Manager<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Select SMS Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Under General SMS Settings<\/strong>, select SMS Global<\/em> for the SMS Gateway<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Select the SMS Global<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
  5. Enter your SMS Global Username in the Username<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n
  6. Enter your SMS Global Password in the Password<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n
  7. Enter your Sender ID in the Account ID<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n
  8. Click Save Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
