{"id":1183,"date":"2016-02-29T09:53:28","date_gmt":"2016-02-29T09:53:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cybercom-software.com\/blog\/?p=1183"},"modified":"2016-02-29T09:56:30","modified_gmt":"2016-02-29T09:56:30","slug":"phonepad-5-2-0-server-update-is-now-available-for-download","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cybercom-software.com\/blog\/phonepad-5-2-0-server-update-is-now-available-for-download\/","title":{"rendered":"PhonePad 5.2.0 Server Update is Now Available for Download."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to announce the availability of PhonePad Version 5.2.0 Server Update.<\/p>\n<h3>New Features<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A popup notification will now appear in the system tray when a new version of PhonePad is available for download (only available to administrators).<\/li>\n<li>The Application Updates feature is now active.<\/li>\n<li>The columns in message lists can be hidden or made visible.<\/li>\n<li>The order of message list columns can be changed by dragging and dropping them, and PhonePad will remember the order.<\/li>\n<li>The width of message list columns can be changed and this will be remembered by PhonePad.<\/li>\n<li>A Category column is now displayed in message lists.<\/li>\n<li>Message list column titles now correlate to custom label changes.<\/li>\n<li>The user list now shows the number of unread messages for each user.<\/li>\n<li>Using the Switch User option you can logout of PhonePad and login using a different user account.<\/li>\n<li>Multiple messages can be marked as Read.<\/li>\n<li>The font size used in message lists can now be changed.<\/li>\n<li>Added option for setting the color of urgent messages that have been read.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Changes and Fixes<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The PhonePad 5 User Guide and Admin Guide have been updated with the latest changes.\u00c2\u00a0 The help files and<\/li>\n<li>Address Book editing permissions &#8211; FIXED.<\/li>\n<li>Messages can be sent without having any recipients &#8211; FIXED.<\/li>\n<li>User list not refreshing until PhonePad is restarted &#8211; FIXED.<\/li>\n<li>Caller Information and Preview tabs not being refreshed correctly &#8211; FIXED.<\/li>\n<li>Multiple messages can&#8217;t be moved to another folder &#8211; FIXED.<\/li>\n<li>Multiple messages can&#8217;t be marked for Follow Up &#8211; FIXED.<\/li>\n<li>Multiple messages can&#8217;t be marked as Completed &#8211; FIXED.<\/li>\n<li>Some messages were incorrectly being shown in the Deleted folder when they weren&#8217;t deleted &#8211; FIXED.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Database updates are now performed at the same time as application updates<\/span>, keeping the two in sync.\u00c2\u00a0 The Database Update application has been deprecated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Workstations will be automatically updated with the new version of PhonePad 5.2.0 Workstation when users login.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important note<\/strong>: whenever you install updates, you need to ensure that all users are logged out of PhonePad.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tinyurl.com\/zm9n97t\" target=\"_blank\">Download the update now<\/a> to your Server or Host PC.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to announce the availability of PhonePad Version 5.2.0 Server Update.
