{"id":1339,"date":"2016-10-06T09:23:22","date_gmt":"2016-10-06T09:23:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cybercom-software.com\/blog\/?p=1339"},"modified":"2016-10-06T09:25:13","modified_gmt":"2016-10-06T09:25:13","slug":"phonepad-version-5-12-0-has-been-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cybercom-software.com\/blog\/phonepad-version-5-12-0-has-been-released\/","title":{"rendered":"PhonePad Version 5.12.0 Has Been Released."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"post_content\">\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<p>We are pleased to announce the release of<strong> PhonePad 5.12.0 Server Update<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"post_content\">\n<h3>Changes and Fixes<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>ADDED &#8211; Login window now shows the IP Address of the server you are connected to.<\/li>\n<li>ADDED \u00e2\u20ac\u201c System Admins can now broadcast messages to all users.<\/li>\n<li>ADDED \u00e2\u20ac\u201c New Cloud option allows notifications to be sent via our servers.<\/li>\n<li>ADDED \u00e2\u20ac\u201c DataUpdate now backs up the PhonePad 5 database before applying any changes.<\/li>\n<li>ADDED \u00e2\u20ac\u201c User Interface options added: Basic, Standard and Advanced.<\/li>\n<li>ADDED \u00e2\u20ac\u201c The new toolbar configuration option allows you to modify the toolbars in PhonePad 5 so you can hide toolbar buttons you don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t use.<\/li>\n<li>CHANGED \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Database Restore has been improved.<\/li>\n<li>FIXED \u00e2\u20ac\u201c The backup limit for AutoBackup was not working correctly.<\/li>\n<li>FIXED \u00e2\u20ac\u201c The backup copy features now executes immediately after an automatic backup has been performed. Previously it was hard-coded to run at 3am.<\/li>\n<li>FIXED &#8211; Minimize to tray does not work for WhereRU.<\/li>\n<li>FIXED &#8211; Sometimes the Tip of the Day window will be hidden behind other windows on login. When this happen the user interface doesn&#8217;t respond until the window is closed, making it appear that PhonePad has frozen.<\/li>\n<li>Various minor fixes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong> Server Updates <strong>must<\/strong> be installed on your Server or Host PC, not your workstation (unless your workstation is also the Host PC) \u00e2\u20ac\u201c they <strong>cannot<\/strong> be installed directly on your workstations.\u00c2\u00a0 Workstations will be automatically updated when PhonePad 5 Workstation is started on each workstation.<\/p>\n<p>You can download the update from your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myphonepad.com\">My PhonePad<\/a> account or by <a href=\"http:\/\/tinyurl.com\/jpc5dpo\">clicking here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>These updates are available for both fully licensed users and trial users.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact <a href=\"mailto:support@cybercom-software.com\">Support<\/a> if you have any problems or questions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to announce the release of PhonePad 5.12.0 Server Update.
