{"id":1401,"date":"2017-03-10T05:34:21","date_gmt":"2017-03-10T05:34:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cybercom-software.com\/blog\/?p=1401"},"modified":"2017-03-10T05:36:37","modified_gmt":"2017-03-10T05:36:37","slug":"support-plans-updated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cybercom-software.com\/blog\/support-plans-updated\/","title":{"rendered":"Support Plans Updated."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The first round of support plans will be up for renewal soon so we thought this would be a good time to let you know that we have revised and updated the PhonePad 5 support plans.\u00c2\u00a0 Currently there are two options: the Basic Plan and the Standard Plan.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Basic Plan<\/strong> is free and includes the following support options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support by email &#8211; response within 48 hours in most cases.<\/li>\n<li>Remote Support &#8211; chargeable per incident.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <strong>Standard Plan<\/strong> is based on the license you have and is annually renewable.\u00c2\u00a0 You get a 12 month plan included with your purchase of PhonePad 5.\u00c2\u00a0 At the end of 12 months you can either renew your plan or let it expire.\u00c2\u00a0 If it expires you will revert to the Basic Plan.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Standard Plan<\/strong> includes the following options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support by email &#8211; response within 24 hours in most cases.<\/li>\n<li>Remote Support &#8211; generally at no cost.<\/li>\n<li>Telephone callback support &#8211; leave a message and we will call you back.<\/li>\n<li>Minor updates.<\/li>\n<li>And the great news is <strong>major updates<\/strong> are also now included.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What is a Support Plan?<\/h3>\n<p>A support plan provides you with help with your software when you need it.\u00c2\u00a0 Whether it&#8217;s help with installation or resolving a problem that has occurred, we are here to assist you.<\/p>\n<h3>Why is a Standard Plan Better Than a Basic Plan?<\/h3>\n<p>One of the main benefits is that you get updates throughout your support plan period.\u00c2\u00a0 These updates can include fixes and new features.\u00c2\u00a0 In the last 12 months we have released 35 updates.\u00c2\u00a0 Without a current support plan you wouldn&#8217;t have received any of these.<\/p>\n<p>And now that we&#8217;re also<a href=\"https:\/\/mld50qmdoq2m.i.optimole.com\/w:auto\/h:auto\/q:mauto\/ig:avif\/https:\/\/cybercom-software.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Technical-Support.png\"><img data-opt-id=1514164765  fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1410 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/mld50qmdoq2m.i.optimole.com\/w:auto\/h:auto\/q:mauto\/ig:avif\/https:\/\/cybercom-software.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Technical-Support.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"421\" height=\"421\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mld50qmdoq2m.i.optimole.com\/w:421\/h:421\/q:mauto\/ig:avif\/https:\/\/cybercom-software.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Technical-Support.png 421w, https:\/\/mld50qmdoq2m.i.optimole.com\/w:150\/h:150\/q:mauto\/ig:avif\/https:\/\/cybercom-software.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Technical-Support.png 150w, https:\/\/mld50qmdoq2m.i.optimole.com\/w:300\/h:300\/q:mauto\/ig:avif\/https:\/\/cybercom-software.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Technical-Support.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 421px) 100vw, 421px\" \/><\/a> including major updates in the Standard Plan, if we release a major new version (eg. PhonePad 6) you will receive it for free!<\/p>\n<p>On top of that you also get remote support where needed, and telephone callback support.<\/p>\n<h3>What if I Renew My Support Plan Before the Due Date?<\/h3>\n<p>When you renew your Standard Support Plan, our system will automatically add the remaining time onto your new plan.\u00c2\u00a0 For example, if your plan expires at the end of July and you renew it at the end of June, our system will add 31 days to your new support plan.\u00c2\u00a0 In other words you don&#8217;t lose anything by renewing early.<\/p>\n<h3>What Happens If I Don&#8217;t Renew My Support Plan?<\/h3>\n<p>You will revert to the Basic Plan where you will only receive support by email.<\/p>\n<p>If you call us and leave a message to call you back we won&#8217;t return your call.\u00c2\u00a0 If we can find your email address in our database we will email you instead.<\/p>\n<p>You will still be able to access updates that were released before the expiry date of your plan.\u00c2\u00a0 Any new releases released after that date will appear in the list of downloads under your MyPhonePad account, but you won&#8217;t be able to download them.<\/p>\n<h3>If I Don&#8217;t Renew My Standard Plan When It Expires, Can I Renew It Later On?<\/h3>\n<p>Yes, if it&#8217;s within 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions please contact sales@cybercom-software.com.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first round of support plans will be up for renewal soon so we thought this would be a good time to let you know that we have revised and updated the PhonePad 5 support plans.\u00c2\u00a0 Currently there are two options: the Basic Plan and the Standard Plan.
