We are pleased to announce the release of PhonePad 5.22.0 Server Update<\/strong>, which is available for immediate download.<\/p>\n

New Voice Announcements<\/h3>\n

Not only is this new feature useful it’s a bit of fun as well.\u00c2\u00a0 Get voice notifications when you receive new messages, when you have reminders due, and more.<\/p>\n

You can select either female or male voices for each announcement.\u00c2\u00a0 Of if they annoy you they can be disabled.<\/p>\n\"PhonePad<\/a>\n

Other Changes<\/h3>\n

\u00e2\u00a6\u0081\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0FIXED – Inbox not showing Uncompleted Follow Ups when Show Follow Ups on Startup setting is checked.
\n\u00e2\u00a6\u0081\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0FIXED – Sending messages to group inboxes was not working correctly in some situations.
\n\u00e2\u00a6\u0081\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0FIXED – Not switching to pull method when there is an error connecting to Notification server.
\n\u00e2\u00a6\u0081\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0UPDATED – Database engine updated to latest vendor release.
\n\u00e2\u00a6\u0081\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0Various improvements and fixes.<\/p>\n

Please note:<\/strong> Server Updates must<\/strong> be installed on your Server or Host PC, not your workstation (unless your workstation is also the Host PC) \u00e2\u20ac\u201c they cannot<\/strong> be installed directly on your workstations.\u00c2\u00a0 Make sure all users are logged out of PhonePad as the PhonePad Server will be stopped during the update and then restarted once it has completed.\u00c2\u00a0 Workstations will be automatically updated when PhonePad 5 Workstation is started on each workstation.<\/p>\n

Important<\/strong>: When downloading and installing an update from your My PhonePad account, make sure it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s actually the update<\/strong> and not<\/strong> the server setup program.\u00c2\u00a0 The update will update<\/strong> your database whereas the setup program will overwrite<\/strong> it with a blank database.<\/p>\n

You can download the update from your My PhonePad<\/a> account or by using the Application Update<\/strong> option on the System Admin<\/strong> menu in PhonePad 5.<\/p>\n

These updates are available for both fully licensed users and trial users.<\/p>\n
