We are pleased to announce the release of PhonePad Version 5.30.0.<\/p>\n

Changes in This Release<\/h3>\n

\u00e2\u00a6\u0081 NEW: We have updated PhonePad 5 with a new help system that features context-sensitive help. Now you can get help on the screen you’re on instead of having to search through the help file or manual.
\n\u00e2\u00a6\u0081 NEW: A new System Rule has been added that requires users to select a Category before sending a message.\u00c2\u00a0 So if you use categories to, errr, categorize your messages then you can now make sure users have selected a category for the message they are logging.
\n\u00e2\u00a6\u0081 FIXED: Completed follow up note was not being added when completing a follow up.
\n\u00e2\u00a6\u0081 FIXED: Automatically moving completed messages to a folder was not working.
\n\u00e2\u00a6\u0081 FIXED: Attachments were not being added.
\n\u00e2\u00a6\u0081 Various minor fixes and improvements.<\/p>\n

Installation Information<\/h3>\n

Please note:<\/strong> Server Updates must<\/strong> be installed on your Server or Host PC, not your workstation (unless your workstation is also the Host PC) \u00e2\u20ac\u201c they cannot<\/strong> be installed directly on your workstations.\u00c2\u00a0 Make sure all users are logged out of PhonePad as the PhonePad Server will be stopped during the update and then restarted once it has completed.\u00c2\u00a0 Workstations will be automatically updated when PhonePad 5 Workstation is started on each workstation.<\/p>\n

Important<\/strong>: When downloading and installing an update from your My PhonePad account, make sure it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s actually the update<\/strong> and not<\/strong> the server setup program.\u00c2\u00a0 The update will update<\/strong> your database whereas the setup program will overwrite<\/strong> it with a blank database.<\/p>\n

If you have the automatic update service installed then the update should automatically download and install.\u00c2\u00a0 If for some reason it doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t, you can download the update from your My PhonePad<\/a> account or by using the Application Update<\/strong> option on the System Admin<\/strong> menu in PhonePad 5.<\/p>\n

These updates are available for both fully licensed users and trial users.\u00c2\u00a0 For licensed users you must have a current support plan to install the update.<\/p>\n
