Both of these versions should be dowloaded and installed together on your Server\/Host PC. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Changes in This Release<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>FIXED \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Under certain conditions, the Notification service was unable to correctly connect to the PhonePad Server.<\/li><li>FIXED &#8211; Errors in MessageSender: E207, E302, E306.<\/li><li>Minor fixes and improvements.  <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Installation Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong> Server Updates <strong>must<\/strong> be installed on your Server or Host PC, not your workstation (unless your workstation is also the Host PC) \u00e2\u20ac\u201c they <strong>cannot<\/strong>\n be installed directly on your workstations.&nbsp; Make sure all users are \nlogged out of PhonePad as the PhonePad Server will be stopped during the\n update and then restarted once it has completed.&nbsp; Workstations will be \nautomatically updated when PhonePad 5 Workstation is started on each \nworkstation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important<\/strong>: When downloading and installing an update from your My PhonePad account, <strong>make sure it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s actually the update<\/strong> and <strong>not<\/strong> the server setup program.&nbsp; The update will <strong>update<\/strong> your database whereas the setup program will <strong>overwrite<\/strong> it with a blank database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Updates and Anti-Virus Software<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the anti-virus software you use, when you install a \nServer Update your AV software may class the updated software as a \ndifferent program due to the change in binary signature.&nbsp; If you \nexperience speed or freezing issues after an update, you may need to \nreconfigure your AV software to stop real-time scanning of PhonePad.&nbsp; \nThis may need to be done on the both your Server or Host PC, and your \nworkstations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important Information If You Are Updating from PhonePad Version 5.35.x<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some code was added to the PhonePad loader program (the blue window \nwith the PhonePad logo that finds the server connection) to log what \nsecurity software was installed on the workstation that we would use to \ndiagnose any startup issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately on some Windows 7 workstations this caused the PhonePad\n loader to just sit there and do nothing.&nbsp; We don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know why this would \nhave caused this and, as far as we have been able to ascertain, it only \naffects Windows 7 workstations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This code has been removed so this problem should no longer occur \nonce these workstations have been updated to 5.36.0 or higher.&nbsp; However,\n it does mean that the PhonePad Version 5.36.0 workstation setup program\n will need to be manually downloaded and installed on any affected \nworkstations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Downloading the Update<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can download the update from your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myphonepad.com\">My PhonePad<\/a> account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are a trial user please contact <a href=\"mailto:support@cybercom-software.com\">Support<\/a> for a download link for this version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please contact <a href=\"mailto:support@cybercom-software.com\">Support<\/a> if you have any problems or questions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to announce the release of PhonePad Version 5.53.3 and MessageSender Version 6.14.1.
