We discovered an issue where the Inbox and other folders are not refreshing when \"PhonePad\"<\/a>new messages are sent or received.<\/p>\n

PhonePad uses a inter-process communication (IPC) method called Named Pipes to communicate.\u00c2\u00a0 This is built-in to the Windows OS.\u00c2\u00a0 From what we can tell, this has stopped working correctly due to a recent Windows Update.<\/p>\n

Rather than waiting for Microsoft to fix this we have rewritten the Workstation Notification Service to use a completely different method of communication that we developed.\u00c2\u00a0 This was released as part of Version 5.64.0.<\/p>\n
