Version 5.73.0 Has Been Released."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to announce the release of PhonePad Version <strong>5.73.0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Appointment Calendar Notifications<\/h3>\n<p>You can now receive notification messages when a new appointment is book, an appointment is updated, and an appointment is cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>To use this feature, go into <strong>Preferences<\/strong> in PhonePad and select the <strong>Appointment Calendar option<\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0 Check the checkbox for each option you want, then click the <strong>OK<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n<p><a Appointment Calendar settings added to PhonePad Preferences.<\/li>\n<li>NEW: Users can now receive notifications when a new appointment is booked for them, updated, rescheduled or cancelled.<\/li>\n<li>IMPROVED: Database server now automatically clears expired message notifications (used for message list refreshing).<\/li>\n<li>CHANGED: Control Center &#8211; Performance Boost renamed to File I\/O Buffering.<\/li>\n<li>CHANGED: Control Center &#8211; All database objects added to File I\/O Buffering.<\/li>\n<li>FIXED: Control Center &#8211; Current sessions are now correctly displayed.<\/li>\n<li>FIXED: Workstation Notification Service would sometimes stop sending notifications.<\/li>\n<li>Minor fixes and improvements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Important Information About MessageSender<\/h3>\n<p>This release is only compatible with MessageSender Version <strong>6.20.0 or later<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Installation Information<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong> Server Updates <strong>must<\/strong> be installed on your Server or Host PC, not your workstation (unless your workstation is also the Host PC) \u00e2\u20ac\u201c they <strong>cannot<\/strong> be installed directly on your workstations.\u00c2\u00a0 Make sure all users are logged out of PhonePad as the PhonePad Server will be stopped during the update and then restarted once it has completed.\u00c2\u00a0 Workstations will be automatically updated when PhonePad 5 Workstation is started on each workstation. <strong>Important<\/strong>: When downloading and installing an update from your My PhonePad account, <strong>make sure it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s actually the update<\/strong> and <strong>not<\/strong> the server setup program.<\/p>\n<h3>How Updates Work<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Please read:<\/strong> You do <strong>not<\/strong> need to install every update between this one and the last update you installed.\u00c2\u00a0 PhonePad uses a smart update system that compares your current PhonePad system with what&#8217;s in the update, works out what changes are required, and then makes those changes.\u00c2\u00a0 So if you are a few versions behind don&#8217;t worry.\u00c2\u00a0 You can skip all of the updates in between and go straight to this update.<\/p>\n<h3>Updates and Anti-Virus Software<\/h3>\n<p>Depending on the anti-virus software you use, <em>when you install a Server Update your AV software may class the updated software as a different program due to the change in binary signature<\/em>.\u00c2\u00a0 If you experience <strong>speed or freezing issues<\/strong> after an update, you may need to reconfigure your AV software to stop real-time scanning of PhonePad.\u00c2\u00a0 This may need to be done on the both your Server or Host PC, and your workstations.<\/p>\n<h3>Digital Signatures<\/h3>\n<p>All PhonePad executables and DLLs are digitally signed for your protection.<\/p>\n<p>You can confirm that a file is safe by right-clicking on it and selecting <em>Properties<\/em> from the popup menu, and then selecting the <em>Digital Signatures<\/em> tab.<\/p>\n<a account.<\/p>\n<p>If you are a current trial user you can download the update by logging in to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cybercom-software.com\/myphonepadtrial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">My questions.<\/p>\n<h3>Installing Updates<\/h3>\n<p>If you&#8217;re unsure of how to install updates, please watch the video on <a
