We are pleased to announce the release of PhonePad Version 5.82.0<\/strong> and Appointment Calendar 5.15.0.<\/p>\n

New System Rule for Configuring PhonePad Toolbars<\/h3>\n

You may not use all of the features in PhonePad so you can remove the toolbar buttons that you don’t use.\u00c2\u00a0 Now users can do this themselves individually, but a new system rule added in this release allows you to set the toolbar configuration for all users in one place.<\/p>\n

You can access System Rules<\/strong> from the System Admin<\/strong> menu (you need to be a System Admin to access this).<\/p>\n

Select User Interface<\/strong> and then click the Customize Toolbars<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

\"Log<\/a>By default, all buttons will be selected.\u00c2\u00a0 Uncheck the ones you don’t want for each toolbar and click OK<\/strong> to save them.<\/p>\n

Select which toolbar configurations you would like to override.\u00c2\u00a0 This will override any custom configurations those users have made.<\/p>\n

Appointment Calendar<\/h3>\n

The Appointment Calendar now features a new appointment type called “Free Text Appointments”.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s a terrible name so if you can come up with something better we would appreciate it. \u00e2\u02dc\u00ba\u00ef\u00b8\u008f<\/p>\n

\"PhonePad<\/a>As the (rather pathetic) name suggests, you can freely type text into this appointment type.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a>It doesn’t have to be names either.\u00c2\u00a0 You can type in anything you want.<\/p>\n

You have the option of adding a room for the appointment.\u00c2\u00a0 This can be added, edited or removed at any time.\u00c2\u00a0 For example, you might decide to move the appointment to a bigger meeting room later on.\u00c2\u00a0 Or you don’t have to assign a room at all.<\/p>\n

\"Access<\/a>The Free Text appointment will be displayed with the text you entered, and a room if you assigned one.<\/p>\n

\"Are<\/a>ToDo List<\/h3>\n

You may have found that reminders for ToDo List tasks may have appeared too frequently, to the degree that they become annoying.<\/p>\n

Now you can change how often you want reminders to be displayed.<\/p>\n

\"PhonePad<\/a>Problems?<\/h3>\n

We’re human too and we’re definitely not perfect.\u00c2\u00a0 Like most other humans, we can make mistakes.\u00c2\u00a0 If you find a mistake or a bug, please let us know and we’ll fix it as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n
