One super handy feature in PhonePad<\/a> is that you can access other users\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Inboxes. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a real lifesaver when someone\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s out of the office and you need to check their messages.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>But let\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s be honest\u00e2\u20ac\u201dkeeping track of all<\/em> those new messages can get tricky.<\/p>\n

That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s where MessageAlert<\/strong> comes in!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>It quietly runs in your system tray (down by the clock) and keeps an eye on all the Inboxes you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve chosen to monitor. If there\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a new message, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll let you know right away\u00e2\u20ac\u201dno more guessing or constantly checking.<\/p>\n

See a username pop up? Just click it, and boom\u00e2\u20ac\u201dyou\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re in that user\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Inbox.<\/p>\n

Getting Started with MessageAlert<\/h2>\n

To launch it, just head to the Tools<\/strong> menu in PhonePad and click MessageAlert<\/strong>. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll minimize itself to the system tray so it stays out of your way but keeps working in the background.<\/p>\n

Need to tweak the settings? Just right-click the icon<\/strong> and select Settings<\/strong> from the menu. There, you can choose which users you want to get alerts for.<\/p>\n

If you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d like MessageAlert to start up automatically when PhonePad does, go to the View menu<\/strong>, select Preferences<\/strong>, then MessageAlert<\/strong>, and check the Start when PhonePad starts<\/strong> box.<\/p>\n
