This message form is used to log details of outgoing calls. Whenever you call someone, you can enter the details of the call in an outgoing message.

Click the To button to look up the details for the person you are calling (if they are in the Address Book).

Type in the person's name. If they exist in the Address Book PhonePad will fill in the details for you.

The date field is automatically filled in for you but you can change it if needed.

This is the company the person is from. If the person isn't from a company you can leave this blank.

The time field is automatically filled in for you but you can change it if needed.

Enter the person's phone number. If the person already exists in the system then this will be pre-filled for you, but you can change it if the number is different.

You can click this button to select other phone numbers for this person.

View or add notes for this person.

You can assign this call to a Category (if your administrator has set them up).

Subject of the message.

A free form text field that can also be used for other messages. When you enter text in this field, it can be accessed for other messages (by any user).

If checked, the message will be marked as Urgent.

If checked, any user who has access to your folders will not be able to read the content of the message.

You can add attachments to messages. If there is an attachment, the number of attachments will be shown in a red circle (which is known as a "Badge").

Your name will be entered here by PhonePad when you create a new message. This cannot be changed.
