  • Added temp folder edit field.
  • Increased refresh timer.
  • Fixed display issues.
  • Expanded activity log messages for processing messages to identify message type and transport mechanisms.
  • Blank lines were being added to email recipient lists where there were blank lines entered in the PhonePad redirection option – FIXED.
  • Added encoding options to the service for use in the future.  No options were added to MessageSender Manager.
  • Added check to make sure that the ForwardQueue table exists.
  • Improved error trapping.

  • I woul like to use this program as a stand alone for my virtual reception business. Is ther any way to create a local user, other than peer to peer? I would like to be able to add a client, and set in out status, and take a message for that client. Is there any way to do that in this program?

  • Hi Nan,

Yes, just do a LAN install on your PC. This will allow you to run PhonePad as a standalone application on your computer.

  • Steve,

Thanks so much for the info, that seemed to work fine. I LOVE this program, after months of searching, finally found one that seems to fit the bill.

I am having an issue setting up my email however. I have tried EVERY combination I can come up with for setting up my godaddy webmail for bythecall.com. my server according to dig is: smtpout.secureserver.net, and tried ports 80, 587, 3535, and every combination of authentication possible. When setting up outlook, I use the same settings for authentication on outgoing server, as incoming.

    Can you help?

  • Hi Nan,

Thanks, glad to hear you like it. 🙂

It’s probably the Sender Email setting. This is probably best resolved through our support channel so could you please send an email to support@cybercom-software.com, and we’ll work out what the issue is.

    Thanks.

  • Got the email sending to work, but not from message sender.

  • Hi Nan, that’s good news. If you contact me at the support email address, I can look in to the issue with MessageSender.
