We are pleased to announce the release of PhonePad 5.12.0 Server Update.
Changes and Fixes
- ADDED – Login window now shows the IP Address of the server you are connected to.
- ADDED – System Admins can now broadcast messages to all users.
- ADDED – New Cloud option allows notifications to be sent via our servers.
- ADDED – DataUpdate now backs up the PhonePad 5 database before applying any changes.
- ADDED – User Interface options added: Basic, Standard and Advanced.
- ADDED – The new toolbar configuration option allows you to modify the toolbars in PhonePad 5 so you can hide toolbar buttons you don’t use.
- CHANGED – Database Restore has been improved.
- FIXED – The backup limit for AutoBackup was not working correctly.
- FIXED – The backup copy features now executes immediately after an automatic backup has been performed. Previously it was hard-coded to run at 3am.
- FIXED – Minimize to tray does not work for WhereRU.
- FIXED – Sometimes the Tip of the Day window will be hidden behind other windows on login. When this happen the user interface doesn’t respond until the window is closed, making it appear that PhonePad has frozen.
- Various minor fixes.
Please note: Server Updates must be installed on your Server or Host PC, not your workstation (unless your workstation is also the Host PC) – they cannot be installed directly on your workstations. Workstations will be automatically updated when PhonePad 5 Workstation is started on each workstation.
