And let’s not forget the history—have they ever been breached? Will they be? There’s a fine line between “secure” and “we hope no one notices.”
Then there’s the big one: is your data just sitting there quietly, or is it being analyzed, mined, or “processed for performance insights”? That’s corporate-speak that often makes me raise an eyebrow.
