Problems Licensing PhonePad?

As part of the change in service providers we have had to make a change to the PhonePad License utility.  If you downloaded PhonePad before 29 October 2007 then you will either need to download and reinstall PhonePad again, or download the updated License utility: www.cybercom-software.com/files/License.exe.

Support Forums and ClientCentral Still Down

Although most of our systems are now back online after finding a new web hosting service, the support forums and ClientCentral are still down.  We are working on setting them up and restoring the data, and hope to have them back online within the next few days.

Systems Are Back Up

Well we finally managed to get all of our automated systems back on line after our previous web hosting service provider went AWOL.  We found a new service provider to host our systems, so the ordering system, license database, online support request, etc. systems are all back up.  If you have any problems at all please let us know.

Change in Payment Options

After having DigiBuy as a payment processor for many years, we were saddened to hear that they have decided to close shop, effective early December this year (2007).  In preparation for this we have removed DigiBuy as a payment option for our products.  However, we still have PayPal as a payment option and have been very happy with their excellent service.  We are currently reviewing other payment processors and may add others if we find any that are suitable.

Systems Are Temporarily Down

Our automated ordering system, ClientCentral and support forums are all temporarily down.? These systems are hosting by a different web hosting service (Powerlynx Hosting)? and there seems to be some problems with their servers.? We are trying to get in contact with them to find out what’s going on.? In the meantime, you can still place your orders via our website but we will be manually processing them until we get our systems back up again.? In the event that these servers are down permanently, we are scrambling to find an alternate hosting service for our systems.

Our main website is hosted elsewhere and so everything else is working fine (eg. website, email, etc).

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Waiting on An Email?

If you sent us an email in the last couple of days and haven’t had a response, please accept my apologies for the delay.  We are experiencing problems with our SMTP mail server and are waiting for our ISP to rectify it.  Out POP server is working so we are still receiving emails, we are just unable to send any.  Very frustrating. 🙁

MessageSender Version 4.10.0.2 Released.

What’s Your Target Heart Rate?

A few years ago we wrote a little application to calculate target heart rates for cardiovascular exercise so that, when we’re working out, we can make sure we’re working in the optimal heart rate range to gain the maximum benefit from the exercise (we found out we were slack and not pushing ourselves hard enough? ).

We decided that others might also find this application useful (especially all you cardio junkies out there) so we thought we’d share it with you.? We rewrote it so it allows multiple user profiles, jazzed it up a little and added a small help file.

The idea is you calculate your target heart rate range based on your age and then, armed with this information, monitor your heart rate while exercising to ensure you’re within this range.? We use the watch type heart rate monitors but you can also check your pulse rate manually using good old fingers.? The calculator also divides the target heart rate range into low intensity, medium intensity, high intensity and very high intensity (psycho intensity if you ask me? ).

We call this program the Target Heart Rate Calculator.? Catchy name, eh?? Yeah, well we were struggling to think of a cool name so we opted for that instead.? Anyhoo, you can download the calculator program from the Target Heart Rate Calculator page.? Oh, by the way, it’s free too.
